Whether you’re brand new to sewing or ready to level up, Leona’s classes are relaxed, structured, and designed to help you succeed — one project at a time.
Simple pricing $25/hour
How classes work
- Scheduling: Lessons are set at your convenience, often weekly or bi-weekly
- Duration: 1–2 hours per session (1 hour recommended for kids)
- Commitment: No long-term contract — continue as long as you’re learning & enjoying
- Payment: $25 per hour, paid after each class via Venmo or cash
Curriculum overview
- 1st class: Sewing machine basics & safety (required for all beginners). A parent/guardian must attend with minors.
- 2nd class: Practice stitching straight lines — the foundation for every project
- Beginner: Start with creating a pillowcase to practice basic sewing skills
- Intermediate: Have the freedom to select their own projects, allowing for more creativity and advanced techniques
What to bring & what’s provided
Students bring:
- Fabric & pattern for your chosen project
- Notions (thread, zippers, buttons, etc.)
Provided in studio:
- Beginner-friendly sewing machines
- Advanced machine for quilting & embroidery
- Serger available for advanced finishing
